Ego began in 2014 as a software consultancy focused on digital commerce. In the early years, we helped businesses build and customize their online stores — learning which problems cost merchants the most revenue.

By 2017, it was clear that Shopify was the platform to build on — and that the most impactful work was not building new stores, but making existing ones grow. We launched our first Shopify app and haven't looked back.

Today, Ego is a complete growth ecosystem. Our apps cover the full merchant lifecycle: cart optimization, promotions, subscriptions, mobile apps, ad tracking, and customer feedback. Every tool shares one philosophy — practical engineering that moves real metrics.

We are still a focused, merchant-first company. We don't chase feature bloat. We ship tools that work, support the people using them, and improve continuously based on merchant feedback.
