Installing & Activating Ego Cart Drawer Cart Upsell

Ego Cart Drawer Cart Upsell replaces your store’s default cart experience with a customizable slide-out cart that can include upsells, rewards, free gifts, add-ons, announcements, trust badges, and other conversion-focused elements.

Before the Ego cart drawer can appear on your storefront, complete these steps:

1. Install the app from the Shopify App Store.

2. Enable the app embed in your Shopify theme.

3. Customize and activate the cart drawer.

To install Ego Cart Drawer Cart Upsell:

1. Go to the Ego Cart Drawer Cart Upsell listing on the Shopify App Store.

2. Click Install.

3. Review the permissions requested by the app.

4. Click Install again to confirm.

After installation, Shopify will redirect you to the app dashboard.

The app embed allows Ego Cart Drawer Cart Upsell to replace your theme’s default cart drawer and display the features configured in the app.

To enable the app embed:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

2. Find your current published theme.

3. Click Customize.

4. In the Theme Editor, open App embeds from the left sidebar.

5. Find Ego Cart Drawer Cart Upsell.

6. Turn on the app embed.

7. Click Save.

After enabling the app embed, return to the app dashboard and configure your cart drawer.

1. Open the features you want to use, such as Upsells, Rewards Bar, Free Gift, Add-ons, Announcement, or Trust Badges.

2. Customize the content, layout, colors, and display settings.

3. Preview the cart drawer to review the customer experience.

4. Click Save.

5. Make sure the cart status is Active.
