Display Behavior & Click Actions

When the bar appears, where it sits, exact sizing ranges, and what the button does.

When the bar appears

Choose the trigger per device:

TriggerBehaviorChoose when…
Always on display (default)Visible from page load.Maximum availability; short product pages.
When user starts scrollingAppears on the first scroll. You want a clean first impression, then persistent availability.
When user scrolls past the Add to cart buttonAppears exactly when the theme's own button leaves the screen. The elegant choice — there's never a moment without a buy button, and never two at once.

The bar slides in with a smooth animation in every mode.

Position and devices

Place the bar at the Bottom (default) or Top of the screen — configured separately for desktop and mobile. Bottom is standard on mobile (thumb-reachable); top can work on desktop if your theme has a sticky header you want to pair with.

Independent toggles control whether the bar shows on desktop devices and mobile devices at all — e.g. run mobile-only if your desktop page is short.

Sizing reference

  • Bar height (desktop): Small 60 px · Medium 80 px (default) · Large 100 px.
  • Bar content width: 70–100% of the bar.
  • Button height: 20–36 px (fixed in the Fill layout, where the button fills the bar).
  • Offset — distance from the screen edge: 0–100 px on desktop, 0–80 px on mobile. Use it to clear cookie banners or chat bubbles that sit in the same corner.

What the button does

Pick the Action on click per device:

ActionBehaviorChoose when…
Add on cart only (default)Adds the item, shows the success toast, shopper stays on the page. You want shoppers to keep browsing (higher multi-item carts).
Redirect to cart pageAdds the item and opens the cart. You want a deliberate review-cart step.
Redirect to checkout (Buy now)Adds the item and jumps straight to checkout.Single-product stores, impulse purchases, ad landing pages.

On themes with a cart drawer, adding to cart also refreshes/opens the drawer where the theme supports it — the experience follows your theme automatically.
