Bar Layouts & Elements
The four templates, every toggleable element, and the mobile Complete/Minimal styles.
The four layouts
| Layout | Look | Choose when… |
|---|---|---|
| Classic | Clean full-width bar. | You want a safe default that fits any theme. |
| Floating | Detached, rounded, hovers above the edge. | Your theme has a modern, airy look. |
| Fill | Edge-to-edge with a full-height button. | You want the button to dominate. |
| Slash | Bold styling with accent-colored pricing. | You want the price/discount to pop. |
Switching templates later keeps your bar; only the visual preset changes.
Elements you can show or hide
Per device, each element has its own toggle:
- Product image and title — reminds the shopper what they're buying; hide on very small screens if space is tight.
- Price, compare-at price, and the saving amount — showing the crossed-out price plus "save $X" is a proven nudge on discounted products.
- Variant selector — lets shoppers pick size/color directly in the bar. Essential if your products have variants; without it the bar adds the currently selected variant.
- Quantity selector — for products bought in multiples.
- The Add to Cart button — always shown.
After a successful add, shoppers see a confirmation toast ("Successfully added to cart!" — text customizable).
Mobile style: Complete vs. Minimal
Mobile has its own style switch:
- Complete — the full form with selectors, like desktop.
- Minimal — a compact bar with just the essentials and the button.
Recommendation: start with Minimal on mobile. Vertical space is precious, and a compact bar converts without covering content. Switch to Complete only if variant selection in the bar is critical for your products.
