Build a Box
Let customers assemble their own subscription box — setup from start to finish.
What is Build a Box?
Build a box lets customers assemble a personalized bundle: they pick products from your curated selection, fill the box to the size you define, and subscribe to it (or buy once, if you allow it). A progress bar and reward messages ("Add 2 more to get 10% off!") guide them along. Typical uses: snack boxes, coffee samplers, pet-treat bundles, cosmetics kits.
Step 1 — Configure the box (Setting tab)
Create a box under Build a box and work through the Setting tab:
- Pricing — choose Dynamic pricing box: the box price is the sum of the selected products (updated live as the customer picks). A fixed-price box option is coming soon.
- Layout — Cart panel or Box drawer; pick what fits your theme better (you can switch later).
- Products — show all products or organize them by category. Set the total items per box (e.g. exactly 6) and optional per-product min/max quantities (e.g. max 2 of any single flavor).
- Purchase options — attach one or more subscription plans (Pay as you go or Auto-renew prepaid with delivery frequency and discount, same as regular plans) and optionally allow one-time purchase.
- Discount tiers — reward bigger boxes: e.g. 6 items → 10% off, 9 items → 15% off. The reward bar shows customers how close they are to the next tier.
- Summary step — after the box is full, send customers to the Cart page or a checkout drawer.
Step 2 — Design and publish
Switch to the Design tab to match your brand: colors, typography, and borders, with a live preview. Then set the box status to Active and share it:
- Copy the box's URL from the admin and link it from your navigation, homepage banner, or ads.
- The box storefront experience runs on the same app embed as the widget — no additional theme setup.
Test the whole flow once yourself: build a box, subscribe, and check the created contract under Subscriptions — box contracts are managed exactly like regular ones.
