Installing & Activating Ego Free Gifts BOGO Upsell

1. You create a campaign — e.g. "Spend $100 → get a free tote bag" or "Buy 2 → get 1 free".

2. Shoppers see the offer on your storefront — an announcement bar, a progress bar toward the reward, a product-page card, or a badge.

3. When they qualify, the gift is added to the cart automatically (or they pick one from a pop-up), already discounted — no code to type.

4. You track Views, add-to-carts, conversion, and Revenue per campaign.

Beyond free gifts, the same app runs Upsell campaigns (cross-sells, frequently-bought-together, post-purchase offers) and Product Bundles.

Install Ego Free Gifts BOGO Upsell from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions. The app opens in your Shopify admin with two main sections — Campaign (your offers) and Widgets (how they look) — plus a Dashboard showing setup status and headline results.

The storefront experience is delivered by the Ego Free Gifts BOGO Upsell theme app embed. While it's disabled, the Dashboard warns you: "customers won't see or receive any gifts on your store."

1. On the Dashboard, click Activate app embed — the Theme Editor opens on the App embeds panel.

2. Toggle Ego Free Gifts BOGO Upsell on.

3. Click Save.

Back on the Dashboard the banner should now read: "App embed is currently enabled. Customers can see and receive gifts automatically based on your rules."

Publishing a new theme later? Re-enable the embed on that theme — it's per-theme.
