Installing & Activating Ego Free Gifts BOGO Upsell
Install the app, enable the app embed, and get ready to run your first offer.
Overview
Ego Free Gifts BOGO Upsell helps you create free gift campaigns, BOGO offers, product upsells, cart offers, and post-purchase promotions for your Shopify store.
Before your campaigns can appear on the storefront, you need to follow the core steps:
Install the app from the Shopify App Store.
Enable the app embed in your Shopify theme.
Activate the campaign inside the app.
Step 1 — Install the app
To install Ego Free Gifts BOGO Upsell:
Go to the Ego Free Gifts BOGO Upsell listing on the Shopify App Store.
Click Install.
Review the permissions requested by the app.
Click Install again to confirm.
After the installation is complete, Shopify will redirect you to the app dashboard.
Step 2 — Activate the app embed
The app embed allows Ego Free Gifts BOGO Upsell to display promotional widgets and campaign content inside your Shopify storefront.
To enable the app embed:
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Find your current published theme.
Click Customize.
In the Theme Editor, click the App embeds icon in the left sidebar.
Find Ego Free Gifts BOGO Upsell.
Turn on the app embed.
Click Save.
Step 3 — Set Up and Activate a Campaign
After theme embed is enabled, create and configure your first Free Gift or Upsell campaign.
To set up a campaign:
From the app dashboard, select the campaign type you want to create.
Configure the campaign conditions, eligible products, rewards, display settings, and schedule.
Review all campaign information to make sure the setup is correct.
Click Save to save the campaign.
Click Activate campaign on the campaign setup screen.
