Bar Not Showing on Storefront
Symptom-based checklist — from the most common cause down.
Bar shows nowhere → check the app embed
The Dashboard's status banner must read Active. If it's Inactive:
- Click Active app embed — the Theme Editor opens.
- Toggle the Sticky Cart embed on.
- Click Save.
This is by far the most common cause — and it must be re-enabled whenever you publish a new theme, since the embed setting is per-theme.
Embed is active but still nothing → check the bar status
In Bar Editor, confirm your bar's status is Active. Draft bars are fully saved but never render. Also confirm you actually saved after the last edit — unsaved changes show in the save bar.
Shows on some products/devices but not others → check rules and device settings
Open the bar and verify:
- Display rules — the product you're viewing isn't excluded, or is included in the "specific" selection. A product recently removed from an included collection silently drops out.
- Device toggles — "Show on desktop devices" / "Show on mobile devices" are on for the device you're testing.
- Trigger — with a scroll-based "When to show", the bar only appears after you start scrolling or pass the theme's Add to cart button. Scroll before concluding it's missing.
Bar shows but looks off → overlaps or styling clashes
Common fixes:
- Bar covered by a cookie banner or chat bubble → raise the Offset (up to 100 px desktop / 80 px mobile) to lift the bar clear.
- Colors or fonts clash → set Font to Use current theme font and copy hex colors from your theme settings.
- Bar feels cramped on mobile → switch the mobile style to Minimal.
