Understanding Your Analytics
The four metrics, per-bar comparison, and how attribution works.
Dashboard metrics
The Dashboard shows four store-wide totals:
| Metric | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Impression | How many times the sticky bar was shown to shoppers. |
| Clicks | Total clicks on the Sticky Add to Cart button. |
| Add to Cart | Successful add-to-cart actions made via the bar. |
| Revenue | Estimated revenue from orders that include items added via the bar. |
Reading the funnel: impressions → clicks → add-to-carts. Lots of impressions but few clicks? The bar may be visually lost — try a stronger button color or the "scrolls past the Add to cart button" trigger so it appears at the decisive moment.
Per-bar performance
The bar list shows Clicks and Revenue for each bar individually — the basis for the duplicate-and-compare workflow described in Managing Your Bars.
How revenue attribution works
When a shopper adds a product through the sticky bar, the item is tagged with the bar that produced it. Orders containing tagged items then count toward that bar's Add to Cart and Revenue. Timing: impressions and clicks appear near-instantly; order-based figures appear shortly after the order is placed.
Revenue here is an estimate for comparing bars against each other — it doesn't account for refunds or cancellations. Always use Shopify's own reports for accounting.
