Installing & Activating the App

Ego Sticky Add to Cart keeps a buy bar always within reach while shoppers browse a product page. The bar can show the product image and title, price (with compare-at and savings), a variant selector, a quantity selector, and a prominent Add to Cart button.

Why it matters: on long product pages — and especially on mobile — the theme's own Add to cart button scrolls out of view. Every scroll back up is a chance to drop off. A sticky bar removes that friction, which is why it reliably lifts add-to-cart rates.

Install the app from the Shopify App Store. The Dashboard greets you with a two-step Quick Guide:

1. "Edit Sticky add to cart to match your needs" — click Configure. This opens the bar creator where you pick a template and adjust functionality, display conditions, and design (see Create Your First Sticky Bar). The step completes once you've saved a bar.
2. "Integrate Sticky Add to cart with your theme" — click Integrate Now. Shopify's Theme Editor opens with the Sticky Cart app embed pre-selected: toggle it on and click Save. The step completes once the embed is detected.

The Dashboard shows an app-embed status banner:

• Inactive — "App embed is turned off and the Sticky add to cart bar will not be displayed on your storefront." Click Active app embed to open the Theme Editor and switch it on.
• Active — "Bar features are active and visible on your store." You're done.

The embed is per-theme: if you publish a new theme later, enable it again there. This single toggle is the cause of most "bar disappeared" reports.

• ☑ App embed banner shows Active.
• ☑ At least one bar has status Active in the Bar Editor.
• ☑ Open a product page on your storefront — the bar appears (scroll if you chose a scroll-based trigger).
• ☑ Clicking the bar's button adds the product to the cart and shows the success message.
