Shopify Flow Integration
Trigger Flow automations the moment a customer submits a survey.
Step 1 — Connect
Go to Integrations → Shopify Flow and connect. Ego Surveys then appears as a trigger source in the Shopify Flow editor, and the app gives you a Create a flow shortcut straight into it.
Step 2 — Build on the “Survey Submitted” trigger
The integration ships a Flow trigger called Survey Submitted — it fires every time a customer completes a survey. Automation ideas:
- Low-rating alert — notify your team (email/Slack via Flow) when feedback needs a human response today, not at the weekly review.
- Segment building — add customers to a marketing segment based on participation.
- Support ticket — create a follow-up task when a customer asks to be contacted.
The answer-to-automation pipeline
For automations that depend on what the customer answered (not just that they answered), combine Flow with the survey's own logic actions: the survey adds a customer/order tag based on the specific answer (see Branching Logic & Actions), and Flow reacts to the tag. Example: answer "Yes" to the discount question → tag discount-interested → Flow sends the offer email.
