Overview
- Enable Ego Pixel theme extension: To allow the app to track events on your store, you must enable the app embed feature in your Shopify theme.
- Add your pixel
- Set up Conversions API (CAPI) token in your Ego Pixel
- Get an Access Token for Conversions API: The Access Token allows the app to send server-side events to Meta using the Conversions API (CAPI). These events will be stored in your Pixel dataset and processed by Meta similarly to browser events
- Get an Test Event Code for Conversions API: A Test Event Code allows you to verify that events sent from your server through the Conversions API (CAPI) are received correctly by Meta before they are sent to live production data.
- Disable other Pixels: To ensure accurate event tracking, we recommend disabling other Meta Pixel integrations before using this app.
