Overview
The Multi Currency setting allows your mobile app to display product prices in different currencies based on your Shopify Markets setup.
After enabling Multi Currency in Ego Mobile App Builder, you need to configure the markets you want to support in Shopify. Once the setup is completed, customers can open the mobile app, go to the Account screen, and select the market or currency they want to use.
This helps create a localized shopping experience for customers from different countries or regions.
Before you start
Before enabling Multi Currency, make sure your Shopify store already supports Shopify Markets.
You should also decide which countries, regions, and currencies you want to support in your mobile app.
Multi Currency in Ego Mobile Builder works together with Shopify Markets. Turning on Multi Currency in Ego Mobile Builder does not automatically create new markets in Shopify. You still need to add and configure the target markets in Shopify Admin.\
Step 1: Enable Multi Currency in Ego Mobile Builder
From your Shopify Admin, open Ego Mobile Builder.
Go to Settings → Localization.
Find Multi Currency and turn it on.

After enabling this setting, your mobile app will be able to support multiple currencies based on your Shopify Markets configuration.
Step 2: Go to Shopify Markets
After enabling Multi Currency in Ego Mobile Builder, go back to your Shopify Admin.
Open Markets from the Shopify sidebar.

This is where you manage the countries, regions, currencies, and localized selling setup for your Shopify store.
Step 3: Add a new market
In Shopify Markets, click Create market.

Add the market you want to support.
For example, if you want to support customers in Canada, you can create or enable a Canada market. If you want to support customers in the United States, you can create or enable a United States market.
Choose the countries or regions that should be included in the market.
Configure the currency and market settings based on your selling needs.
Save the market after finishing the setup.
Repeat this process if you want to support more than one market.
Step 4: Make sure the market is active
After creating or updating a market, make sure the market status is Active.
Only active markets should be available for customers to use.
If a market is still in draft or not fully configured, customers may not see the expected currency option in the mobile app.
Step 5: Preview your mobile app
After enabling Multi Currency and setting up Shopify Markets, open the mobile app preview.
Go to the Account screen in the app.

You should see a setting option that allows customers to change their market or currency preference.
Open this setting and choose the market or currency you want to test.

After selecting the preferred option, the app should update and display prices based on the selected market or currency.
Step 6: Check currency display in the app
After changing the market or currency in the app, review the main shopping screens.
You should check the homepage, product listing pages, product detail pages, cart, and checkout flow.
Make sure product prices are displayed in the expected currency.
If your market setup includes different pricing or regional rules, confirm that the app reflects the correct experience for that market.
Important notes
Multi Currency in Ego Mobile Builder depends on Shopify Markets.
You need to enable Multi Currency in Settings → Localization and also configure the required markets in Shopify Admin.
If Multi Currency is enabled in Ego Mobile Builder but no additional market is configured in Shopify, customers may not see additional currency options in the mobile app.
If a market is not active in Shopify, it may not appear as an available option in the app.
The currency shown in the mobile app may depend on your Shopify Markets setup, customer location, selected market, and checkout configuration.
After customers change their market or currency from the Account screen, the app should display prices based on the selected option.
Troubleshooting
If the currency option does not appear in the mobile app, check whether Multi Currency is enabled in Settings → Localization.
If Multi Currency is enabled but the expected option still does not appear, check whether the market has been added in Shopify Markets.
If a market does not appear in the app, make sure the market is active in Shopify.
If prices do not change after selecting a different market or currency, refresh the mobile app preview and test again.
If the product price looks correct but checkout does not use the expected currency, review your Shopify Markets and checkout settings.
If you recently changed your Shopify Markets setup, wait a short time, then reopen the app preview and check again.
